HOTEL CANATA KYOTO

Hotel muy bonito, cómodo, tranquilo y habitaciones espaciosas.

Precio alto por nuestra habitación, ya que las vistas buenas son solo de las habitaciones de lujo/muy caras para nuestro presupuesto. Lo aconsejo más bien para parejas que quieren ofrecerse un capricho. Para familias o como yo madre viajando con su hija, mejor un hotel con más ambiente y no tan exclusivo.

La personne a l’accueil parle très mal anglais pour ne pas dire pas du tout Gros souci pas de breakfast et rien dans le voisinage pour prendre son petit déjeuner

Staff were so kind & welcoming, 5 star service. I had booked this hotel as a treat for my last few days in Japan and it was so worth it, I felt like I was in my own private spa. So relaxing, such a beautiful hotel. Depending what room you have booked, you may get an amazing view of Nijo-Jo castle which was amazing to wake up to on a morning. Great location, local shops and convenience stores just a walk away. I cannot fault the staff - all the ladies on the front desk were so kind and made me feel looked after. The bar is lovely too, great non alcoholic drinks and lovely to sit outside and people watch on a warm day.

The only thing I will say is, the guests above were quite noisy and could hear them stomping around - obviously this is not the hotels fault but sound proofing could be better.

Loved the calming, boutique feel of the hotel right in Central Kyoto but away from the cut and thrust of downtown which can be overwhelming. Super conveniently located opposite Nijo Castle and near fabulous local shops, cafes and eateries. Staff are delightful and helpful and the whole experience felt very thoughtful.

The only thing is that the rooms were quite dark and I wish there had been some small plates.

Lovely staff, bags were brought to room and lovely bed & shower.

Sounds petty but lighting and lack of natural light, everything else was great
