Location was good. Security were very friendly.

There was no coffee. When queried was told they had run out - no attempt to assist. No rubbish bin in the room. The toiletries advertised was one very old, tatty bottle of foam bath - in the shower? The bathroom light was very dim There was a smell of cigarette smoke when I arrived. A fan was used to disperse this. The place looked very old and tatty - pudding bowl had a crack, a plug cover was missing and the cupboards were scuffed. It was very noisy with the locals racing in the streets. Got a bit better when all the windows were closed.

Had a good rest and was surprisingly warm considering how cold Durban weather was. It was comfortable and privacy was truly respected, I didn't have to deal with a nosy host at all and I loved that.

The only thing that I was unhappy with was that the room was located on the roadside, so the noise of the cars and traffic was a bit excessive, considering that late at night you'd get bikes and cars racing and revving their engines. That did ruin the experience.

It was good and very peaceful

I was very disappointed in the items that were given to us. Firstly there were just 2 pots provided , which was dirty as well as wasn't enough. Secondly , the broom provided was absolutely dirty Thirdly , the shower gel looked as if it has been used as there only was quarter shower gel. Fourthly, we were given just 1 bin bag not even a bin And lastly, we were only given towels the day we arrived . Overall I was happy with the place itself , as it is a very comfortable and cosy place. The price was reasonable . But the service was rather poor . I would happily pick this place again if there were changes made .
