Check in instructions - parking a bit difficult to find, instructions should state that this is before the apartment, as we drove past the apartment and had to find our way back twice. Otherwise, helpful and lots of info provided. Entrance way - lovely design but incredibly dirty and not welcoming at all Living area - dirty rug, collapsed uncomfortable sofa, 1 other chair. Stained scatter cushions. Kettle etc provided but no coffee or tea - pod machine but no pods. Freezer absolutely overflowing with old ice, needs de-icing. No tea towel, the most common owl in the Britain. Main bathroom - sink is in ridiculous place, can’t open door properly. Bedroom with en-suite - far too hot, no fans provided, would’ve been a nice touch since it was over 30 degrees this week - curtains as thin as rice paper, can see straight through, not private at all and on a main road and can’t sleep a wink after sun comes up, bleeds straight through - iron burn on carpet - cob webs everywhere - couldn’t even open sash windows - mattresses feel about 30 years old, very noisy and springy. Stained scatter cushions and dirty carpet (instructions said to remove shoes but you could see someone had been in with their shoes on as there were tread marks on the carpets..) En-suite - handy, shower is great, but door wheels needs repair - hot water tap not working on sink - hand wash bottle with no hand wash - towels are basically hand towels. Location is perfect for the park due to seeing gig but incredibly overpriced at £427.30 for 1 night with the audacity to charge £102.50 damage deposit when it’s not up to a high standard to start with. No little amenities, coffee or tea etc, just rubbish tiny tubes of shampoo and conditioner. Would come last on Channel 4’s Four in a Bed. If you like sleeping in your Nan’s spare room, this is the place for you. Photos on advert ARE NOT recent. It’s very run down outside now, rubbish everywhere.

It was close to the town centre , an easy walk even with a walking stick. Large shower easy to get in to. Kitchen good, large fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, oven, cook top.

Beds need to be replaced, could feel springs and made noise when changing positions, lounge seat also needs to be restuffed or changed as sitting very low ,needed cushions for comfort.

Location by Bute Park, nice walks into town or to Chapter Arts Center or local pubs. Lidl was not far away for groceries.

Through our company, we book approximately 40 properties a year. We understand that issues happen, and if a host resolves them, we don't leave negative feedback—in fact, we haven't left a single negative review in three years. Unfortunately, this stay was an exception. Upon arrival, the apartment looked much more "tired" than the photos suggested, with marked walls, but we were willing to overlook this. However, the carpets had clearly not been vacuumed. We reported this immediately, and the host promised to resolve it. The next day, cleaners arrived, but instead of vacuuming, they simply took the property's vacuum cleaner away. Over the following days, we followed up repeatedly. We even offered to vacuum ourselves if they provided a working machine, but our requests were ignored. Five days after checking out, we had to prompt the host for our deposit and requested a refund of the cleaning fee. Only then did the host claim we had damaged the flat, providing a photo of damage that did not match anywhere in the property. After we disputed this, they finally refunded both the deposit and the cleaning fee. While the refund was eventually settled, the experience was defined by broken promises, poor communication, and baseless accusations. We will not be staying here again Why have they got good reviews? After a stay, they give you £40 Amazon vouchers if you leave a positive review! Fabulous location

TV took a bit of working out but minor observation

For me parking is important and it is not too complicated. Also walking distance to the city centre. Hosts are v nice and v responsive!

Shopping for food is not so convenient but I can do uber delivery.

We just had to cross the road to get in the wonderful park and cross it to get to the castle and the city center.

Still no curtains in the main bedroom despite all comments. The water pressure is not sufficient in both showers.

Well located it was very clean, nice to have tea, coffee and milk available, the biscoff as a welcome gift was thoughtful, the host was very attentive and accommodating.

Not that I did not like it but we would recommend black out blinds in the main bedroom, the room flooded by light in the early hours of the morning.

Location is superb, the lay out is spot on with some real thought gone into making our stay really nice. WI-Fi is brill so is the dish washer and washing machine if your on a long stay.

Hmm, beds where ok TV was a pain but yet your on hols so who needs a TV- The one thing it needs is, although it can sleep 4 there are only enough lounge seats for 3 on a couch so an armchair would be good idea.

The location from city centre is the only real positive about this property.

The property has electric showers which have poor water pressure and randomly go hot/cold. Not good when you have kids. The sofa in the lounge was half broken so couldn't sit on that side.
