Location good in the centre of Oban so handy for shops and restaurants and getting to the Ferry. Free whisky was nice touch.

Windy stairs up a poorly lit close and stairs not great if carrying luggage from the car. Mould in the bathroom on the wall and bathroom overall in need of upgrade. No sockets near mirrors and no storage in the bedrooms, quite small.

Location, location, location

The property was compact and located very centrally.

The external staircase was uneven with no handrail and slippery in wet, the internal staircase is very steep and windy. Photographs of the entrance close, external stairs and internal stairs should be published so that people have the opportunity to see whether they can climb them, as the description gets lost in the small print. We were travelling with our 82 year old mother who is very sprightly - the description we saw said 2 small flights of stairs and we were all shocked when we found the property. Our mother is a trooper and managed but struggled and could have easily fallen on the unevenness of the outside steps. Parking was also an issue. Only 3 metered spaces outside and those seemed full 24/7, so unloading and collecting was troublesome. Our mother also wanted to mention the hallway rug and how it is a trip hazard and that the bedrooms are very small with no room around the beds.

Location is great. However if you have mobility issues there are quite a bit if stairs. The whiskey left for tasting is a nice touch.

The bed in one of the rooms was very uncomfortable. It definitely needs to be replaced. I could feel the springs. However, my friend was staying in the other room, and it was better. I think if you are renting an Air B&B you need to pay for good beds. Bathroom could use a paint but not horrible by any means.

In none of the information did it tell you the access to the flat was so difficult. There are steep stone steps up to the front door. No handrail, just uneven stone steps. Once inside, there is another ridiculously steep set of stairs. I think they are a safety hazard. Definitely won't stay there again, even though the flat is very nice once inside.

Warmly welcomed by complimentary whiskey, found a very neat and clean apartment. Everything worked and was in order. It’s in the town center making everything in Oban assessable.

Entrance was a bit challenging for bigger luggage, so we left them in the car.
