GBRoom 3 Room/bed/bathroom were spotless clean. Mini fridge was a bonus and appreciated.
Room 3 I booked 3rd party and did not receive any confirmation from accommodation. Bed was a very rickety, plastic covered mdf headboard quite old fashioned, from 80's I think. Towels were dinge grey (once white im guessing) Tea making area (shelf) was awkward to use and there was no socket near the kettle, so I had to try and balance the extension lead next to kettle, which was not safe. Hot water (hot tap) was scolding. Eye level mirror on wall in dark corner of bedroom, but nowhere to sit and do hair/makeup.
GBCosy country pub feel but very well appointed quiet ensuite rooms and high-end gastropub menu with good choice. Food really good quality and well presented. Great breakfast. Lovely surroundings with canal towpath round the corner.

Breakfast was very basic, no fruit, yoghurt or pastries. Only limited cereals, cooked and toast available. No hairdryer in room and lead for kettle too short to plug into socket without moving onto floor. Shower was slippery without a mat.
