Our room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable. Large bath sheets, hot shower/bath, big bottle of hair/shower gel. Bedroom decor and furnishings beautiful. Delicious carvery for dinner. Roast lamb pink and succulent. Bountiful breakfast the next morning. Local sausages delicious. First time, in a long time, I have enjoyed a hearty breakfast so early. Thank you.

Nothing to dislike. Didn't realise parking is not on site, but public car park round the corner. Chargeable hours are 8am - 6pm all.week. Very reasonable prices as expected of a market town.

The historic building The quirky corridor how the floor tilted

The room was cold It was tired looking The bathroom sink plug was rusted. The shower cubicle looked un inviting 2 pipes sticking out of the floor. Carpet was stained by the window

"Great staff and great food"

Staff were extremely friendly, Cooked breakfast was delicious. we had a bar meal that was lovely and didnt cost the earth. Great pint of Guinness too !

Its an old pub with some rooms at the back, they are basic and looking a little worn but for the money its an absolute bargain. No complaints from me, I would happily stay there again.
