FLH Porto Clérigos Luxury Apartments

The staff provided us with an excellent alternative apartment, modern and well equipped.

The apartment was taken off the market by the owner just days before we arrived. The staff made a big effort to provide an excellent alternative , the only downside being it wasn’t in the area we’d wanted so they did well.

The property is big, spacious and tastefully done. It has 3 toilets and 2 showers. The appliances are of good quality. The location is very central . The host is friendly and accommodating. The beds are comfortable The wifi and Cable TV worked well.

The coffee machine was not working, it was replaced, but the replacement also did not work. There is a lot of construction around the area both roads and buildings, which start at 7.30 am and sometimes goes until midnight. except on weekends. It would help to have a rack to hang towels outside the shower and for toiletries inside the shower.

The modern style and the position.

The curtain of the window of the smaller bedroom was not functioning thus impossible to sleep as the windows are lit from outside all the night. Asked to repair: nothing happened in the following days until the end of the stay. Additionally the shower head pipe of the main bedroom broken up at the first use so no possibility to use it and in the main bedroom closet a pair of trousers and a lighter have been found.

Apartment is newly renovated. Very spacious. 3 toilets + 2 showers. Comftable beds. Excellent location. can walk to most attractions in Porto. quite quiet despite the construction work outside the apartment

No place to put shampoo, bath gel in the shower. No place to hang towel and clothes in the shower. No place to place toilet paper in the toilet. When showering, door cannot close properly and water flows out. No clothes airer to hang laundry.

Location was good. Good bedding. Clean.

Although the apartment seems quite new, there were a lack of basic things like no towels rails, no place to put suitcases, no bedside tables or consoles in the rooms.

Spacious, location was superb, well maintained. There was some problem with kettle and they immediately replaced with a new one. So people taking care of the property are very good!

Minor things- 2 blinds were not working. No space in washroom to keep toiletries. Placement of toilet in second room.

Once we found the reception location - 15 minute walk away - key collection was easy. It is a beautiful and spacious apartment, with a great location. Very quiet, great air conditioning, and light/airy. Some aspects were disappointing - see below.

Fabulous coffee machine - but only wine glasses were provided.....!! We stayed for 7 days and asked on 3 occasions for some coffee cups but nothing arrived. Eventually we found some paper cups in a supermarket and had to use those. very little else provided in the kitchen - just wine glasses and cutlery.

Great location easy walking distance to central Porto.

Unfortunately the property hasn’t been set up with care to cater for guests - no coffee or tea cups, breakfast bowls, water glasses, tea towels, towel rails in the bathroom, clothes rack, electric kettle, chopping board or proper kitchen equipment should you want to cook anything. It is sterile and very much lacking any sense of ‘home’. To be fair when I asked, some espresso cups, a chopping board and clothes rack were delivered which I appreciated, but there’s a lot more needed.

Very easy to collect the keys and we were able to get into the apartment early. The key collection office was located ten minutes walk away - thankfully downhill too!
