Dark Skies Cottage

Lovely clean, spacious, beautiful cottage in a gorgeous setting. Peaceful garden, we loved watching the sheep on the hill! Comfortable beds & the kitchen had everything we needed. Central to places like Whitby & Scarborough. Would definitely love to return! :-)

excellent cottage. very clean, very comfortable and everything needed was provided. Very peaceful location. nice back garden for relaxing at the end of the day.

noises of barking dogs quite nearby in the morning and early evening (feeding times?) was annoying but is part of rural living so no real problem.

We had a lovely stay here, the house was spacious, clean and decorated lovely throughout. There was a bottle of wine and biscuits on our arrival, which we enjoyed, and treats for the dogs. The facilities were great. The surrounding area was beautiful, with walks from your doorstep. It was very peaceful, which was just what we needed, would definitely recommend.

Excellent quiet location nestled into the moors with good walks and scenery right on the doorstep . The accommodation was very clean and recently renovated so was just like walking into a new house . The kitchen was excellent and had everything you needed .

Location is a beautiful area of the National Park....and great to be able to get to lots of the surrounding areas ....great for walking and amazing scenery The cottage is so lovely and finished to a really high standard having great facilities including internet and nice touches and so very comfortable ....lovely asset for ‘dark skies’ is telescope! Hosts very helpful and friendly - excellent communication and keen for us to have a positive stay -which we most certainly did. The village of Rosedale is pretty and has good facilities including shops, phone box, cafe and lovely coaching inn for food Will be returning for a longer time later in the year
