Host very helpful with airport transfers

Host was friendly and helpful but this was probably the only positive.

Location was in a very run down area and we did not feel comfortable at first. However when we went out to eat we found service at the restaurant very friendly even with language barriers. There was rubbish left in bins, no shower gel/soap and place generally appeared untidy. Advertised having a washing machine (which influenced us choosing to book) but it was not connected so unusable. Overall not a great stay and would look elsewhere.

Si vous avez beaucoup de bagages, sachez que l'appartement est au deuxième étage sans ascenseur.

This is without a doubt the worst place I have ever booked on Booking.com. The pictures on their website do not depict what you actually find. The place is disgusting. There is no air conditioning or fans. The windows were open, without screens when we arrived, and there were dozens of flies in the room. The light bulbs were bare, and the "curtains" were sheer and translucent. Sleeping would have been impossible for so many reasons, including safety and the omnipresent smell of manure. When I asked the host whether they had fly swatters, he pointed me to a can of Raid. It's in a very sketchy neighborhood that smells like a stockyard. I was traveling with my wife and adult daughter, and they refused to stay here, so we ended up staying at the nearby Hampton Inn, which is very nice. I asked the owner for a refund, and he was refused. You should question why his listing says no refunds and why he takes your booking money immediately. His pictures are a joke and his reviews, in my opinion, are highly suspect. Booking.com has been no help so far and frankly should be both embarrassed and alarmed to allow this listing on their platform. Given how many times we have used their site for travel, I believe they could be more responsive and trust their customers opinions. I wonder how many real complaints they have had about this place. Don't trust this listing's reviews-except this one!

- Было холодно и долго прогревалось помещение после включения отопления (были в марте месяце). Было бы здорово, если бы хозяин включил отопление за час-два до нашего заезда - Местами "побитый" ремонт, но не критично
