KEX Hotel

Nothing wrong with the facility itself. However, I was overcharged and have contacted them multiple times through the booking site and via email, but have received no response. I had been looking forward to staying here since before COVID. Very disappointing.

Our bed was comfortable and the room and hotel were clean. You get free coffee and creamer downstairs in the morning and there are a lot of cool places to sit downstairs when it’s empty in the morning. (The bar doesn’t open until much later.) We liked the retro vibe in the room and hotel. We loved the wool blanket and the neighborhood.

The room was tiny. We were on the second floor right above a loud area where people gathered outside for drinks. The clerk wasn’t very with-it when we arrived.

Great place to stay if you’re visiting Portland. The hotel has a nice bar and restaurant on site. Plenty of character!

The only downfall is the shared bathrooms, however they are very well kept and clean all the time.

Cozy, friendly, great designed.

It was a good location for me because I also go to used clothing store. There were a lot of good shops around there
