The building seems new, spacious, towels are clean

The check in was in a travel-agency-like desk in the town center. I had to get room info from there. For the instructions and map I was told to take a photo from their brochures, didn’t make me feel any hospitality or service. Very much a DIY facility which I didn’t expect. They also instructed the guests to wash their used dishes and kitchenwares. The hotel was in a separate area which had many houses alike, it was hard to tell which one was their hotel. There’s no one onsite to help. The room had a bad smell despite it looked new. Kitchen cupboards had greasy fingerprints on them. Shower water pressure was weak but the sinks water pressure was strong. Kitchen sink was ok but the bathroom’s sink was small and it took time to drain the water. The electric bed pad was poor quality. It heated one place extremely hot. My lower back was so hot I had to wake up in the midnight to turn it off. The bed was also poor quality. I couldn’t sleep well.

The property was in a good location close to town. It was easily walkable. The kitchen was well stocked and it was nice to have a dishwasher and washing machine. The sofa was comfortable and the unit was spacious.

The smell of food on arrival was unpleasant and it never really went away. The beds and pillows were not comfortable for me - note to fellow side sleepers. We also had someone try to come into our place late at night because they were in the wrong building.

Great experience. Free washer definitely helps. Basic kitchen cleaning capabilities are also great. Location handy and close and of high quality.

Having to use the body wash as a hand wash so remembering to move the bottle in and out of shower as and when needed. For what they charge, this is a small cost for a better experience that happens on literally every other accommodation.
