Peaceful place and nice people.

Huge, comfortable very clean room and very friendly owner.

Everything was absolutely amazing. Ishani and her family are so welcoming and really go out of their way to make everything perfect. We traveled with our one year old daughter. She loved it there. There's loads to discover in the huge garden. Plants, animals, people. Sometimes it was too hot for the little one in the garden and that's when we really appreciated the size of the room. It's huge and offers lots of space to play. During our stay our daughter fell sick and we got quite worried. Not only did Ishani arrange the ride to the hospital, she also gave loads of mental support and motherly consulting. Ishani cooked for us every night and each time we were amazed how great food can taste. She even packed a lunch package for our daughter for our travel to the next place. Not only Ishani but also her family are a delight. Especially her daughter who was very playful and kept our daughter busy. When we had breakfast or lunch with Ishani, she even took care of our daughter so we could eat in peace. A rare treat for fresh parents! And we are very grateful for that. I'm very scared of creepy crawlies and feared that there might be quite a few as the accomodation is in the middle of a huge garden. But we didn't have any problems with that at all. It's just helpful to stay inside in the mosquito hour in the evening. Otherwise no creepy crawlies whatsoever because they keep the whole place very clean. Other than the food, we asked for some special things from the supermarket and our laundry to be washed. It was all done perfectly and the food and those extra services were very very fairly priced. In the end it felt like we were leaving friends and not hosts. Grazie mille per la vostra ospitalità!!

The only thing that comes to my mind which would make the accomodation even greater than it is already would be a fridge in the room or the outdoor kitchen so if people actually want to use it and cook themselves, they can use it. We needed to store milk for the baby's porridge and we're allowed to store that in the family's house :) that worked perfectly well for us.

Our stay was very nice and convenient, the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, good AC as well.

Fantastic place! I have used various accommodation options in Sri Lanka - from budget places to the best 5 star hotels. Staying here was one of my best experiences. Super clean room and bathroom, very nice and lovely owners and delicious food. Absolutely wonderful option in Anuradhapura!
