The Lodge Tulelake

Expedia online changed the date to be the day before so I Lost 73 dollars.

Booked 2 rooms, one had bed bugs, the other had tiny black specs on bed sheets, not sure what from and there were tiny hairs on sheets. Told guy at front desk we didn’t want to stay there and wanted a refund and he said he can’t and we’d have to get it thru Expedia. Expedia came up empty on the refund.

Quiet and clean

This room was very, shall I say "ghetto", for example the flooring was coming up, deep scratches on the furnature, the rooms ARE NOT sound proof as the ad states, the bathroom sinks are cool but they didnt even have a blowdryer or a counter in the bathroom for your hygiene...this WASNT a $130.00 room, which is what I spent LATE check-in so I wasnt even there very long.

Property has been updated fairly recently but it was unclean. I looked at 3 more rooms after finding my linens were soiled. All 4 rooms had dirty pillowcases. Rooms smell of sewage. There is a broken down car with flat tires in the driveway.

I liked the remote nature of the lodge. Quiet farmland surroundings with not a lot of traffic coming by.

The rooms were not cleaned, terrible door repairs, and dirty bedsheets.

Comfortableroom, TV , WIFi, shower and heat worked well. Pleasant funky vibe, bungalow rooms, …cute!

I’d have liked a way to make in room coffee, and maybe a mini fridge and microwave. The bedding seemed not clean..
