The Lodge Tulelake

Not so good. The room key was non functional and the single bed was infested with mice.

There was DIRT and hair in each of the beds, rodent feces in one of the showers, and the heaters were not sufficient in any of the 3 rooms we booked. The pillows in one room smeeled like cigarettes and it seemed like all the table and counter surfaces were wiped down with a heavy oil like surface, which stained my leather purse and soaked into my makeup bag that I ended up throwing away. The floors looked like they hadnt been cleaned since the recent remodel the motel underwent. Webs, toothpicks, dead bugs, rodent feces were in the corners of the bathrooms. I removed one pillow case because it had maybe makeup? On it, and was going to use a bath towel (that was folded) to cover it, but the towel had 3 hairs in. We were weary and tired, so we just bundled up and slept on thop of the blankets.

Great stay at the newly remodeled motel.

It was quiet. The manager was very nice.

understaffed, often no one in the office.

Not one thing!

The sheets weren’t washed. There were hairs and foot crustiest in the sheets.

Very clean,small room but we were only sleeping.

Close to the road so make sure you have a sound machine or an app like we did to drown out the noise.
