Good and convenient location to do different things in Chiang Mai

The staff were not friendly at all. They seemed bothered whenever we asked questions. The first room we stayed in was incomplete (no bedside tables or lights), and we were woken up in the middle of the night by a leaky air conditioning. We complained and were given a different room that did have bedside lamps and tables, and no leaky airconditioning. However, the room smelled funky, no matter what we did (we opened the window quite often hoping the fresh air would help).

Great location, my room was big and bathroom was huge

Unfortunately my room was facing the main street and it was a bit noisy

Room was exactly what i requested. Nice bathroom and balcony with a view. Bed was comfortable but a bit small for two people. Daily cleaning service if required.

Not much to complain about really but apparently the hotel restaurant has been closed for a few years but a few small restaurants are close by.

Communication, cleanliness, and room was comfortable. Roseate was also located in a great location, with walking distance to bars and night markets

Location is ideal. It's a beautiful building, they do make an effort to keep the face of it clean and good looking every day. The shower was hot and great pressure. It smelled fresh, no mould or mothballs. I liked the gym, it had free weights and a few cardio machines and space for a yoga mat, looking out onto a small balcony.

It was just so dirty! Everywhere. In our room, along the corridors, all the windows and doors, the gym - I spent so much time cleaning everything before and after using it. They've tried to jazz it up with cheap gold coloured plastic items. It just needs a really deep clean. The beds were very soft, personal preference, we didn't love that. But the mattresses were clean and free of insects, yes we checked! It was initially a bit gross, but once you get past that, it's a pretty good place to stay. I wouldn't pay more, but it was OK for what it was.
