Nooks Sintra three

Nice little apartment with everything necessary for a short stay of several days. Excellent location near to all cultural and historic attractions in Sintra. It is not very difficult to find a parking space near the apartment.

The shower cabin is quite tiny.

The place is well located: 10 mins walk from sintra historic center. When I arrived, I immediately noticed how clean it was, it even smelled good! I also appreciated it had portable heaters and a heavy extra blanket.

The facilities need upgrading. There was no toaster, the water pressure from the shower was very poor. Some of the lights worked, but not all. The plug in the bathroom didn’t work. The double bed could be ungraded to a queen or even a king. There is room for one. The futon was hard to sleep on. The main road by the accommodation was quite busy and noisy. This did settle down at night. It was very difficult to find the place even with GPS. Parking OK, but a long trek with luggage to get here on cobblestones. No air conditioning but good windows.

The property and neighborhood was very quaint. Very well situated to walk to the sights of Sintra. Bring good walking shoes, very hilly. The location of the apartment is just past where the two way traffic ends so if you bring a car try to park about 100m before the location and that is perfect, then you can get in and out of the heritage area very easily. If you park past that point you will have to go through the maze of Sintra to get out again, which is especially slow during the day with traffic. If you like IKEA furniture you will love this place, very functional and comfortable. The laundry and cooking facilities were exactly what we wanted. Beautiful great big windows for a cross breeze and natural light. Very nice temp for sleeping. Fairly quiet. The linens were very clean.

As described there is free parking but it is not on site, it is street parking and it is extremely limited. We went in late May and we barely found a spot each day. It took us a bit of searching to find the front door, it wasn’t clear with google map. It is just 20m up the walk from the main street that you park on. The shower was a bit small but doable. There is a slight bleach and musty smell when we come home everyday but it airs out quickly. Also no wine glasses but we made do with other glasses.

Very comfortable, cozy, the apartment is located in a magical and beautiful place.

Fantastic area, close to all attraction. Nice and cozy apt which has everything that is needed!

A bit strangle smell

In reality it looks even prettier than on photo, it really nice and bright apartment with everything you need. It placed in the heart of the city, it took 10 to get the groceries or old town, also right from the house there was a little road to the Mauro castle, it was the shortest way.
