Nooks Sintra three

The space and cooking facilities were great. Apartment had a nice feel. Washing machine very useful for us. Location was handy/walkable to many of the attractions around Sintra. A great stay with a very helpful host.

This is no reflection on the apartment just something to note. We would recommend you pick up supplies from a decent supermarket before you head up to the apartment. There are none in old town Sintra.

Great location about 10 minutes from Sintra train station and about 10 minutes from the back entrance to the Moorish Castle which takes you up to Peña Palace. Good facilities in the Apartment and clean.

Quite close to the main road but once you close shutters, most of the noise is blocked out. However, you’re likely to hear heavy lorry buses traffic from 7am. The good fridge needs a good clean as quite smelly.

Cozy place, very tastefully furnished and matching the charming old house. There’s no shop or restaurant very close by (closest is like 10 min walk in steep hill) but the property is right next to the last spot where you can turn around with a car (otherwise you need to do a full round around Sintra after they changed the traffic access rules in the town). So it was easy to go with the car both directions. The owner was trying to be helpful

Very very low water pressure in the bathroom made it difficult to wash although the drain was clogged too so more water would probably flood the apartment. If you come with a car you’re probably park it in the street below where it’s possible to turn around and that are really stinks like cesspool. The apartment luckily didn’t smell though

Photos do not do justice. Fully equipped. Great location for visiting Sintra/Castles. Excellent hub for travels to Lisbon, Cascais, Estoril, Cabo de Roca. Host provided many tips and was happy to help, quick communication

Nothing no to like

The location is perfect to visit Sintra and surroundings. Is very comfortable and has everything that you need! Any extra you might need, ask to the property manager. She will be happy to help.

Probably is because of the area, but the house smelled like humidity.
