Beautiful apartment and good location

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the owner. 2 days before our stay demanded £250 sent by bank transfer as a deposit. When returning the deposit we was charged for 2 things that we knew did happen so was happy to pay it. Although £35 is excessive for a single white bottom sheet. We then recieve the deposit back which has even less than discussed and when I told them this I was then told we’ve taken extra for a cleaning fee because there was a bit of excess eyeshadow shimmer on the floor which apparently needed 4 hours to clean. Had we had access to a hoover and mop I would of cleaned it off in 5 minutes. The owner has our money by bank transfer so there is literally nothing we can do about it. Be warned of the ridiculous set of rules which make you feel on edge while staying there. Oh and 2 cameras not only recording your movements in and out of the property but also records all your conversations. We would of booked this again for future events as we are a group of dancers so use Blackpool a lot and others asked us where we stayed but after our treatment we will never use it again and have warned others not to stay either.

The decor and facilities were amazing - ticked all of the boxes for our hen who we were celebrating.

The list of rules sent on the day was excessive; we were already aware and were going to be respectful of the property and the surrounding area but being sent that on the day was a real buzzkill and it stressed us out because the £250 deposit kept being used as a consequence for if a rule was broken. To think a cup breaking would potentially mean your deposit is lost makes you so on edge. Rules are rules yes - but it really put a dampener on things when you’re worrying about things like a cup breaking of a group of 14 people laughing too loud at a joke. I think it needs to also be made clearer that instant coffee (not sachets of 3in1 stuff that contains milk powder) needs to be brought for the duration of stay, aswell as toilet roll. There was 14 girls staying at the apartment and we got through it quick due to obvious reasons; enough was provided for one night and we stayed for 2. When you’re told the apartment has everything you would need for a stay, you would assume toilet roll for the duration of the stay is included in that.

Plenty of room, lovely decor, comfortable beds, nice additional touches (shampoo, soap etc), great location. We loved our stay, the key being in a keysafe is a great idea, especially when traveling in a large group. The apartment was spotless with plenty of room

Any excuse to not refund deposit, the host will use it. Ours was partially deducted due to some rubbish which the cleaner "could not vacuum and had to use her hands" Also, as it was hot, there was no AC and only 1 fan. When we contacted the hosts to ask if any more fans were available, no reponse was received.
