The Bothy

Beautifully furnished, fabulous views, warm and cosy. Felt remote but was close to the main house if we needed anything. Loved walking round the lake in the evening listening to the birds.

The location, the views were stunning and the main reason for booking this property. Having a stunning view from the hot tub. The character of the Bothy and its history. Having a log fire and BBQ and outside seating was lovely too. Instructions how to get there were very clear and our hosts were super helpful and lovely.

That we couldn’t stay there longer!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Bothy. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped too. The hot tub was great and the view was amazing!

It was a beautiful location, very quiet and secluded. It was cosy and clean, perfect for a couples get away. It was well equipped and the hosts were very friendly and helpful.

I can't think of a single thing I did not like, the only slight improvement I can think of is having some sort of awning for the hot tub for when it rains.

Great location with the Jacuzzi overlooking the Menai Strait. Peaceful and private. Wouldn't change anything.

Location is beautiful. Lovely sunsets & view. Love the hot tub. Really helpful, friendly & welcoming hosts. We really appreciate log burners. Really comfy bed. Clean property. Loved hearing sheep. Eggs available from house. Geoff & Julie have made such an effort with the properties, they deserve many bookings. Exceptional. xx

Would have liked better reading lamps, both sides of bed. Cleaner to check equipment ie : Hood over hob needs new filter & replace/fix light. Set of new cutlery ( lovely cutlery but has tarnished in D/W ) Light in centre of lounge flickering so I took out a bulb & clean glass shade. needed a heat proof glove for woodburner. Please don't be upset by my comments X

Absolutely beautiful everything was 10 out of 10 for anyone wanting to escape from it all this is the place the perfect couples retreat

The location was perfect very private the cottage is beautiful and clean everything you need is here

My partner and I had an amazing break away for the New Year, we had everything we needed and more. The hot tub and log burner were a fantastic addition to our stay and the views from the bothy were stunning. We really enjoyed our stay here and already cannot wait to return!
