Très bon accueil de Mokhtar et de son cuisinier. Il nous avait comme demandé organisé le transfert depuis l’hôtel et une ballade en chameau. L’endroit est superbe au début des champs de dunes sans autre camp proche. Nous étions seules au monde dans le désert. La température dans la journée était super. Nous avons même pris un bain de soleil sur des matelas entre les tentes.. Les tentes sont spacieuse et en très bon état. La nuit il fait un peu froid mais avec 3 couvertures pas de problème. Toilette et douche très propres à 20 m. La nuit le ciel étoilé paraît à portée de mains… Le spectacle est fabuleux.

Wir haben kurzfristig gebucht und die Kommunikation ( Fragen / Treffpunkt ) verlief unkompliziert und wurde sehr schnell beantwortet. Der Fahrer Abdo war auf die Minute pünktlich und sehr nett. Die Hinfahrt zum Camp. dauerte ca. 2,5 Stunden. Wir hielten für Dromedar Herden, Esel, Fossilien und es wurde uns viel erklärt. Es war ein lustiges und abenteuerliches Erlebnis der Weg bis zum Camp vorbei an einer atemberaubenden Landschaft. ( Danke nochmal an Abdo 🫶🏻 der sicher und gut durch die Wüste fuhr ) Zurück ging es einen anderen Weg, der genauso landschaftlich atemberaubend war wie die Hinfahrt. Die Kosten für den Transfer haben wir im Vorfeld ausgemacht ( keine versteckten Kosten ) Im Camp selbst war es einfach ein Traum. Alle waren soo unglaublich nett 🫶🏻, das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Zimmer waren trotz Kälte ( wir waren Anfang Januar ) warm und falls man es benötig, bekommt man noch warme Decken soviel man möchte. Die Lage des Camps: ruhig und schön gelegen in den Dünen. Diese Stille ist einfach ein Traum ( kein Lärm wie wo anders, von Nähe liegenden Nachbar Camps ) Ps: Haustiere kein Problem. Mein durfte mit ( ohne extra Kosten ) Kurzum: sofort wieder…. 🫶🏻liebe Grüße an alle

This was a beautiful and very special stay, much more comfortable and “luxurious” than we initially expected, especially considering the remote desert location. Everything you need is provided: towels, drinking water, and upon arrival you are welcomed with tea and snacks such as chickpeas and dates, which immediately makes you feel at home. The owner is incredibly welcoming. He only speaks French, but we managed to communicate very well, especially as I speak some Moroccan Arabic. We ended up having breakfast and dinner together, chatting for a long time, which made the experience even more meaningful. The place is family-run. The owner manages the camp together with his brother, who is in charge of the kitchen. Occasionally the owner’s wife also helps, although we didn’t personally meet her. He shared many stories with us about how this project was created thanks to government funds that support local people in developing sustainable initiatives. With the help of his family and these funds, he was able to open this small bivouac, starting with the first four tents and building shared bathroom facilities. The bathrooms are shared but clean, and it is impressive to see what they have managed to create in such a remote environment. They are even working towards providing hot showers. The experience itself is wonderful. This is a real sand-dune desert, not a rocky or semi-desert area. It is a true sea of sand dunes, exactly like the desert you see in documentaries. You are surrounded by dunes, silence and vast open space. They also organise camel tours, although we chose not to do one and instead enjoyed walking barefoot in the sand and simply immersing ourselves in the desert. The owner organises the transport to reach the camp. We departed from Foum Zguid, and Abdu came to pick us up in a 4x4. The journey is already part of the experience, with a couple of stops along the way: one at a beautiful oasis and another at the dried Lake Iriki, where you can see...

We stayed in the desert tents with our host Mokhtar, and it was an absolutely amazing and unforgettable experience. Since we didn’t have a 4x4 car, we arranged a transfer from Foum Zguid, which worked perfectly. The journey to the camp itself was already an experience – we stopped at several interesting places and even visited an oasis full of camels and baby camels, which was wonderful. After arriving at the camp, we enjoyed traditional mint tea and then went on a pre-arranged camel ride, which was fantastic. Mokhtar also managed to get sandboards for our children, and we spent the rest of the day sliding down the sand dunes. For the kids, this was the strongest and most memorable experience of our entire trip to Morocco. Dinner was a delicious tajine, absolutely excellent. Mokhtar is a very kind person and a great companion – we had wonderful conversations by the campfire in the evening. And the million stars in the sky after sunset were simply breathtaking. Our stay with Mokhtar was a truly powerful and emotional experience. We visited at the end of December and were a bit worried about the cold, but during the day it was pleasantly warm (around 20°C). At night it might have been around 5°C outside, but inside the tents, under several blankets, we were completely warm and slept very well. In the morning, it was warm again. Breakfast was a fantastic Berber omelette. An absolutely amazing experience – highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

El lloc és fantastic, poder veure la posta i sortida del sol des del desert. Menjar bo, personal molt agradable. Ens van portar en cotxe pagant un extra, visitant coses interessants. Allotjament molt bé, inclús té llum, aigua calenta,… pots demanar sopar allí…Inclús ens van deixar beure alcohol (portat per nosaltres) i compartir-lo en una foguera a la nit. Ho porta una tot gent local amb els seus familiars, molt agradables, i s’adapten a tot el que necessitis. Koulchi Meziane

El matalàs i els coixins potser era el més precari. Però molt acceptable tenint en compte que dormint al desert.

Mukhtar, z’n familie en team zijn supervriendelijk en deden erg hun best om het ons naar de zin te maken, wat ook gelukt is. Wat een leuke belevenissen! De tour door de woestijn, met verschillende stops, is geweldig en we zullen nooit de gezellige avond rond het kampvuur onder de sterrenhemel vergeten. Mukhtar spreekt Frans en z’n vrouw Meriam Engels. Het is natuurlijk allemaal ietsje minder comfortabel dan een hotel, maar dat hoort er helemaal bij! Het is al heel knap dat er een keurig toilet en gedeelde badkamer is en dat je warm kunt douchen in de woestijn! Ontbijt en avondeten wordt allemaal verzorgd, met biologische groenten die we samen hebben geplukt! Heerlijk!

Niets! Nog wel een tip: het is wél aan te raden om thermo kleding mee te nemen want het is in december, zodra de zon onder is, natuurlijk wel koud.
