"Affordable, comfortable, quiet & well stocked."

The pre-arrival email was very helpful & we had no problem finding the location, parking & using entry codes. Theres a large secure garden area with table, chairs if you'd like to enjoy the evening air or take the dog out. Theres also a path right next to the property for a walk into the heath. The room was simple but all the essentials were provided. tea, coffee, cups, plates, cutlery, towels, shower gel, kettle, fridge, tv. As long as you dont forget your toothbrush, you'll be fine! :-) Its a self-service type of accommodation, so we didnt see any staff at all, but everything worked smoothly. I think there's a wash room & kitchen there too, but we didnt use it. Id totally recommend it if you want an affordable option. You can walk into Walberswick, its about 20 mins to the pub. Walking along the road isnt ideal, but its not that busy & your into the 20mph zone soon enough. Bring a torch for your walk back. We ate at The Anchor & it was great. We went on for an extra beer at The Bell & that had a tradition feel. Both are good. Be sure to stop at Black Dog Deli for breakfast, theres a couple of parking spots in the road next to it. Theres a large paid parking in the village riverside, but its APP only.

"Quite & Relaxing"

Absolutely amazing. Having stayed previously in a smaller room this larger one is better. The fenced garden is great for dog owners.

Extremely slow broadband. But obviously the property is in the middle of know where.

"Spacious and dog friendly"

7.0

Location is great, 3 minutes to Walberswick with parking. Lots of space and dog friendly. It's pretty simply furnished but good for a night or two. Having tea coffee and a biscuit in the kitchen was very nice.

There was a pump or something in the room next door that made a racket, but not once.our neighbours had gone to bed.

The lodge is extremely well located as we have dogs & there's so many walks on the doorstep. The room we had was the budget room & was well equipped with several choices of breakfast including bagels cereal & porridge, also we were left juice, milk tea & coffee.A hairdryer is also in the room along with washing machine & tumble dryer in the wash house which was extremely welcome after we'd been to the beach 1 day.

Can't think of anything I didn't like,
