STAFF BEHAVIOR IS NOT GOOD, VERY VERY ROUGH

NO SERVICE EVEN THEY DONT PROVIDE WATER

I booked and was confirmed by Booking. Com / the manager said my booking was not confirmed. I paid 1500 rupees per night - they wanted 9000 to 12090. Complete cheering. I was in horror. Settled for less.

Manager canceled Booking. Com and charged 4 times more per night.

Location of Hotel & Staff

It is a run down place. It should not be allowed to exist. The floor, The furniture, fixtures, are all broken. It is very old and rotting. There is a strong smell of old dying building. Very very dirty everywhere. I strongly advise booking.com to remove this hotel from your listing, else you will ruin your reputation.

When we arrived at the Hotel, the staff asked us if we were visiting for any occasion - we told them it was for Mahakhumb Mela and they were very friendly in explaining to us how to get there. They were letting us know of any restrictions the government have put in place.

First of all, the hotel name is completely different to what is shown on Booking.com versus when you actually get there - it said Hotel Santosh. Second of all, on google maps - the name has not been updated either. The hotel and the room itself is nothing like what was shown on Booking.Com and we were completely in shock to what we saw in reality. I could not believe the state of the room and the bathroom it reminded me of prison. The hotel itself is something out of a horror movie. When we returned back from Mahakhumb Mela around 1am- we asked for a kettle for some hot water. A staff came back to us and brought warm water in a plastic bottle - which is not what we asked for. Nothing like we expected at all.
