Spectacular penthouse luxury with harbor views

Our family of four stayed two nights. Fabulous location, within easy walking distance of everything we wanted to do in Auckland. The apartment was compact but generally clean and tidy (with the exception of the smelly dishwasher). The whole family enjoyed using the pool and sauna facilities. The view is wonderful and having an outside deck to enjoy it was a bonus.

The dishwasher wouldn't work and absolutely stunk to high heaven. Powder was still congealed in the dispenser so it appeared it hadn't run properly for a little bit. We tried to clean out the filters (which were full and the reason for the smell) but still couldn't get it to work so ended up hand washing dishes. The overwhelming negative, however, was the bed in one of the two rooms. It was like Grandma’s old soft bed that sags in the middle. We aren’t big people but both of us spent much of the night rolling endlessly into the centre, to the point that we woke up hollow eyed and grumpy the next day. It was so bad that the second night we kicked our teens out and moved to the second room. Our daughter was okay in the saggy bed by herself and our teen son attempted to sleep on the small two-seater couch but eventually gave up and slept the rest of the night on the floor. I did try to contact the accommodation to give them private feedback but did not receive any response. We booked ten different stays during our visit to the North Island, and this was the only one with a bedding issue. Unfortunately, the lack of sleep really impacted our (otherwise relatively pleasant) stay at this property. Hopefully this is something that is remedied for future guests.

Location was perfect. Easy walk to the Viaduct, Commercial Bay, the ferrys and Wynyard Quarter

Poor communication - took time getting back to you. Didn’t provide check in details promptly had to chase up Wanted to make changes to number of guests. Wanted payments made outside the platform. Didn’t make up bed for the third guest

The view was absolutely spectacular, from the harbor bridge on your left to Rangitoto on your right! Couldn't hear other guests coming or going from their rooms like other places in the city. Everythings very modern & styled well + its in a good central location.

The unwelcoming "no air bnb & booking.com check in/out here, please contact your provider" sign on the one & only door of the office in the lobby.. especially considering i had already called twice & got no answer before arriving. Both bathroom extractor fans in room 2603 lvl 26 don't work so it holds onto smells even 3hrs later. We ended up leaving the balcony door wide open & both bathroom doors to air the place while we went for a walk. After coming back from the pool on lvl 1 we realized there were no extra towels in the rooms to have a hot shower with, just the towel that was on the bed which was now wet from our swim.

Lovely apartment. Being very high up, it has excellent views of Auckland CBD and piers. Clean and comfortable.
