Spectacular penthouse luxury with harbor views

Spectacular views and great location. Very short walk to main shopping area, tourist attractions and wharf. Loved this aspect of our stay.

This was not great value for money. The apartment was tiny and we can now see that the advertising shots used a wide lens, so the small size really surprised us. We selected it in preference to others as we were seeking a large roomy space. It's max 4 people but reasonably, 4 adults would struggle in the space. There was only one 2-seater couch. The beds were jammed up against walls, and could only fit one bedside table in each bedroom, so one person had to place their stuff on the floor. One of the mattresses had us rolling into each other (which was a laugh!), and some pillows were lumpy. One bedroom wall socket did not work. One of the (dining table) chairs needs repairing. No shelves/racks in the shower to place your gear on (older people would struggle bending). The lounge curtain rail was broken so the curtain could not be completely closed, exposing the room to all the afternoon sun - it got hot! The a/c worked well - however being on the top floor, the bedroom was boiling - grateful for the floor fan that was provided. For the price we would have liked better quality coffee (not granulated!) but that's not a deal-breaker just personal preference. This probably should have been priced at $100-150 less per night. Finally, we had difficulty contacting the owner with a query prior to arriving in the country, and it took ages to find the name of the building and location, so for a while we wondered if the place existed which was a bit worrying. So sorry, don't like giving mediocre reviews but have gone into detail to give the owner an opportunity to improve it.

Advertised as with having air-conditioning but only had a portable unit that was undersized for the area and did not cool the area at all.

The view was immaculate, the beds were comfortable the sauna and pool were amazing

The showers were ludicrously hot but that was easily manageable. The lack of air-conditioning would be the only minus I could say. And the parking situation, but that's auckland for ya

The views across Auckland are superb. A very well maintained apartment that suited us down to the ground. Two bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, meant that our trip was a great one. Private, quiet and a most enjoyable stay. Great facilities to cook and clean if you stay longer. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk all provided.

Room faces the setting sun so was quite warm when we went in. There are fans for cooling and no problem leaving the windows open.
