Exclusive Self-contained flat in Middlesbrough

So I'm actually shocked and must warn travellers about my experience. I booked though here as have for years. Arrived at property which was in total darkness so found number and to be honest he had sent. Message asking me to call 30 mins in advance which I didn't see. He said I needed I'd etc and be 20 mins fair enough. But the reason he wanted I'd was he told me bad I QUOTE BAD people had stayed previous evening smoking taking drugs and running about late at night. I raised my concerns said didn't feel comfortable staying but he wouldn't accept I wanted a refund. His attitude became rather alalming and I didn't stay. Booking. Com are aware but as of yet done nothing Can't say internally what like but very run down outside and seemed rough area people smoking crack asking for money outside is not what I want when staying away with work. I live in Durham 3p miles away only booked as couldn't get to work eat enough on sat. Very poor attitude rude and intimidating I would avoid for safety reasons

All the furniture was broken or ready to brake, and the noise from other guests was unbearable even tho it said that your room is soundproof, It says onsite parking but only room for 3 cars and the car parking next to the place was £10 per nite. There were electrical wires exposed from the wall, and the shower barely worked.

Location and value for money.

The location was perfect for the city. There was some parking at the back.

The noise from the road and you could hear the occupants in the next room. No breakfast option.

It's a really nice place it's really clean it's quiet

I have to wait for the owner for 15mins and it was raining and he's rude..Not going in this place again.

Wasn’t bad room just to stay for the night , had a problem getting in as was no answer from the property, so rang someone he came and met me and got me the keys
