YES THE GUEST HOUSE WAS VALUE FOR MONEY - COMFY BEDS AND LOVELY POWER SHOWER ON TOP FLOOR!

I COULDN'T GET HOLD OF ANYONE AFTER LEAVING SEVERAL VOICEMAILS. IN THE END A NEIGHBOUR APPLIED TO THE COUNCIL ON OUR BEHALF TO OBTAIN A TEMPORARY PARKING PERMIT FOR THE 2-DAYS, SO THAT WE COULD PARK AT LEAST ONE CAR RIGHT OUTSIDE THE HOUSE!

The property was in a very quiet area with only a 10min walk along the canal into town. There was plenty of space and a pleasant outside area. The bed was very comfortable and the shower worked well. The wifi was strong and reliable.

Be aware that there is no parking at the property. You can drop off bags and then park in St Martin's gate carpark which is a short drive or 10min walk along the canal from the property. The stairs are very steep and the bathroom is on the 2nd floor above the bedroom which might be tricky for anyone with mobility problems or young children.

Central heating and hot water quite good.

Missing cuttlery, only one fork and no TV. In my opinion, a little more cleaning would have been fantastic. There was no welcome brochure explaining details like how to turn the central heating on or the wifi password.
