La Belle Residence Self Catering Accommodation

1. Not much privacy as you have app above and next, the sound isolation is low.

We stayed for 3 nights. 1. The property is close to bus stop and supermarket 2. One of the bedrooms is really nice, with good views, lighting and tasteful decoration 3. Host arranged for alternate accommodation as we were checking out late 4. Living room and balcony are quite big, the views are nice too 5. Pool access, when the apartment it was attached to, was not booked.

After amazing hospitality in Praslin and La Digue, this was a disappointment for the 4 of us. 1. One of the bedrooms literally does not have any views, makes you feel cramped up (please see photos), its a 2 star hotel room at best. 2. The door of the washroom from this bedroom cannot open properly because it gets stuck with shower door. 3. Access to another washroom was not provided, even though this was communicated to the host. 4. For Washing machine, we had to use the shared one downstairs which was leading onto the kitchen of another apartment. Also, no detergent was provided. 5. We had to pay 50 euros for 4 hours for a studio apartment for late checkout. 6. Even though we communicated we needed a Taxi from ferry, we got to know after arriving, it was not sent due to a miscommunication.

Very spacious, clean and fully equipped accommodation, just like in the photoes. Good location towards the north of Mahe Island. Smooth cooperation with the owner.

No air conditioning in the living room. There are many pots in the kitchen, but one or two are adequate because the others are scratched.

Unfortunately, our stay didn’t meet expectations. The host was generally inhospitable and communication was poor. Despite the booking stating we could store our luggage until 3pm, we were told to collect it by 2pm and had to leave it outside, as no proper storage was provided. There was no check-in area or clear instructions on arrival, and although the booking was non-refundable and made in advance, we were told to pay again on arrival. The suite itself was extremely hot, with air conditioning only in the bedroom and old TV with barely any channels. While there is a pool on the property, we were informed it was only for the use of other guests, which was disappointing and not made clear beforehand. Would not recommend.

1. This place is huge and surrounded with beautiful scenic view and near to beach 2. Care taker is humble and very responsive over phone and WhatsApp 3. All necessary utensils were available for self catering and wifi also good 4. Owner and care taker are happy to accommodate late night flights arrival

1. It has got only one 1 ton air conditioner in big sleeping room, which is not sufficient to cool the room at all, suggest to keep air conditioner in hall and also increase the tonnage capacity of air conditioner 2. This place is not available on google maps, i am not sure why but it get difficult to reach if you don’t buy local sim and if travelling at late night 3. Swimming pool access is only for some specific rooms, i am not sure why so. 4. At least a bottle of mineral water should be made available on arrival for guest, which can be improved

It's perfect experience for our family. Even out of our expectations. It has large space, comfortable furnitures and convenient facilities, decoration are also beautiful, just like 5 stars villa. If we come again, we will still choose this accommodation again definitely.
