Under The Castle Apartments Ljubljana

Fantastic location in an old building right in the centre of town. A quirky room, but comfy and clean, and we really appreciated the use of the communal washing machine and dryer. Good instructions from the host about entry details etc.

The room was slightly cramped.

Location is perfect for exploring the city. Lively bar 2 mins away. Lots of restaurants 5 min. Very quiet at night. Big shower.

If you want to do a lot of cooking our apartment, the smallest, was a bit limited. Otherwise it was a good base.

Loved it was so close to parking (although €24 a day is pretty expensive). Great locale to the daily City Market - SO FUN! Walking distance to so many things to do. Marko was very responsive to questions. Cute apartment, stay was great.

The only con was the “shower”. It’s actually a rounded hot tub so it was a bit difficult to stand in and I scratched my legs several times on the rocks getting in and out. There are grab bars to hold on to; but probably not the best choice for say tourists over 60 years old? FABULOUS amount of hot water for shower. 😀

Bathtub felt very dangerous. Slippery and not level

Location is perfect base for undertaking activities and enjoy the city. Everything is clearly explained and the 'self-service' to get in is convenient. Effective communication with the owner.

Small point for me. When booking, it is not entirely clear what the booked apartment looks like exactly. Later it is indicated that you should check this carefully to avoid later misunderstandings. Apparently that has happened before?
