"Lovely comfortable hotel, great welcome"

Our room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and well appointed bathroom, both spotlessly clean. The hotel's location next to the river is really nice with a very peaceful aspect. There is a nice traditional pub onsite that serves the local community. There was absolutely no sound audible from the bar in the room, even when it was packed with weekend customers. The breakfast was exceptionally good quality, everything is cooked to order and served in a lovely dining room. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. The owner/host was very welcoming, professional and kind. The private carpark added an extra sense of security for our stay. Termonfeckin is a nice old village close to Drogheda and the coast - great location. Would happily stay again.

"Don't use this property - they charge you twice"

It is an old style hotel old fashioned but also charming. We were there out of season and everything was closed. We got private parking in a closed area.

Breakfast was ok, but we had to wait half an hour to get it - we were the only persons for breakfast. By arrival the staff-lady said that the price from Booking was too low - 113 €/night - but accepted my pay at the desk. After we left the property claimed that we did not show up, and cashed in payment again from Booking.com Now we have payed twice for our stay at this property.

I liked the comfortable , spotlessly clean room and the very tasty breakfast.

I didn't like that I was unable to speak to anyone at reception by phone the evening before my visit The place seemed locked up, at almost 3 pm on the day I was to check in.. There was a large electric gate with a key pad where I could communicate, eventually, and gain access . If I had been ⁸ would not have been concerned but I was worried there was a problem with the booking.

Staff friendly with good customer service . Great Location with walk to a beautiful beach . At Sea Point

Advertised as a Boutique Hotel . The Restaurant is not open for lunch or evening meals . Therefore only a Bed/ Breakfast . Bar with snacks only . For meals at Local Golf Club or drive into Drogheda Town . Disappointed to find this information only on arrival .
