Oxford University Centre Lovely House

Lovely place for a night away in Oxford. The location was perfect and the house was clean and nicely furnished, the bottle of wine was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend!! Thank you 😊

We were a bit worried when we saw round the back of the property, but inside was very clean and tidy. It was close to the town and was very quiet in the evening. No problems, and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to explore Oxford.

The location was excellent. It allowed us to be in Oxford city Center within minutes. We also liked the amenities - the kitchen was well provided for and the shower was amazing.

The beds were awful. Really bad. Incredibly spongy and you heard the springs pinging anytime you moved. Possibly the worst bed I’ve slept on for a very very long time. The issue can be so easily resolved by going to IKEA and replacing the mattress with an inexpensive firm or medium firm mattress. I urge the proprietor to consider making this change.

Location unbeatable. Bottle of wine on arrival was a real bonus!!

Tea and coffee, cornflakes and milk provided. Some nice gestures like bottle of wine and crisps. The accommodation was very clean and close to train station, Westgate shopping centre, and town centre.

Some suggestions for small improvements: might be an idea to provide a house manual with some guides to using facilities and equipment e.g. tv. The bedroom could do with bedside lamps.

It was a good location from which to explore Oxford.

Reasonable walk to centre of Oxford and organised tours. Two very comfortable upstairs bedrooms, great washing machine/ dryer, practical living and dining space.So helpful to have own car parking space.
