Edgewater Hotel and Conference Center

Hospitality, pool, location was great.

Elevators was exceptionally slow. Plumbing needs upgraded. Need better parking option since we had to pay for daily parking.

Location was great, staff was friendly, and checking in and out was simple. We had a room with a hot tub and it wasn’t working. We were moved to another room with another hot tub very quickly.

Elevators were on the slow side. The breakfast was okay, just wish there was a little more variety.

Location in the best thing the property has for it. Some of the staff members were great, the nvernight staff not so much. Our room faced the rear(hill/trees/foliage) but hey I saw a small black bear moving so that is a bonus. Yes, there is a small pool, yes there is good paid parking but the spaces aren't all too large. We had a 7 seater SUV and we got into the space slowly but saw two guys in F250 size trucks and one just simply gave up so I don't know where he ended up. Breakfast was sufficient as in many places offer complimentary, just enough to get you going.

I was waiting for coffee which was brought out/refilled by an older gentleman on a little trolley, his manners weren't the best however was there any need for him to have a pistol on his person? Besides that, why we wouldn't stay again is part of the hotels probem and others guests but the trash in the public areas was bad. People leaving their trash everywhere(soda cans, tissues, promo cards they've been handed downtown etc) but in our 18 hours in the property they were still in the places we saw them when we arrived. Basically, other than breakfast, the public areas were not kept even to basic clean standards. (The room, the breakfast area certainly clean)

The location is great it is right behind the main road. You just come out of the hotel walk across the street and a joining park lot and you are on the main street. Room was comfortable and had everything you needed. The breakfast was great you had anything you needed. This was the first hotel I had breakfast that made pancakes out of a machine with a push of a button and they were wonderful. Usually, you have a waffle maker, but this was a first.

when you first come into the facility and you are looking for the lobby. As you drive up, I saw a sign said lobby 100 feet went that way but that was the other hotel next door. So turned around and then saw the sign going into the parking garage for the lobby to the hotel. Once you got in the garage the parking is tight for a larger vehicle, but we made it. So, then we went to the elevator and had to go up two floors to the lobby to check in which was strange to me. Once you got parked and found your way it was ok.

Close walk to everything. Left the car parked the whole time.
