Edinburgh Charming Old Town Apartment

Location was fantastic for what we needed. Royal mile area.

Location was superb.

Muy buena ubicación. Casa amplia y buena distribución de la casa. Muy luminosa durante el día (entra sol desde el este y desde el oeste). El wc separado de la ducha. El propietario responde rápido y deja fruta, galletas, café y leche.

Ruido insoportable, imposible dormir por falta de insonorización. Ventanas sucias que no se cerraban del todo. No cerréis la puerta de la habitación exterior, está roto el picaporte y nos quedamos encerrados. Por la mañana mucha luz en las habitaciones que no deja dormir. Por la noche mala iluminación de la casa. La ducha no tragaba Cafetera sucia El lavabo del baño no tenía tapón y el desagüe estaba abierto, por lo que si se te cae un pendiente o lo que sea lo pierdes. La cocina está bien equipada en cuanto a electrodoméscicos, incluido el horno, pero no tiene fuentes de horno. Los platos llanos son aptos para horno pero no es suficiente para 4 personas, claro. Tampoco hay ensaladeras o bowls grandes Las camas no son cómodas, demasiado blandas. Mucho ruido en los muelles de la cama de matrimonio Esta casa no tiene un 8. Tiene un 4 como mucho y por la ubicación.

We loved the location of the apartment. You basically walk out the door and you’re on the Royal Mile with easy access to everything. We also liked that the rooms were very spacious the fresh flowers and bowl of apples and shortbread was a nice touch. We also appreciated having Tea and coffee available with milk in the refrigerator.

The only thing we didn’t like was the noise outside. But it is in a very busy part of the city and not really the fault of the apartment owner so anyone staying here I recommend that you bring earplugs and maybe a travel fan to block out some of the noise

Not anything to do with the appartment but very busy road. Found it hard to sleep but then we do live in the countryside so just not used to the noise at night.

The location was excellent about eight minutes walk from the station and close to the Royal Mile and a great base for exploring Edinburgh The apartment was very spacious and comfortably furnished. Towels, toilet rolls, shower gel, washing up liquid, tea towels etc all supplied We loved the welcome pack, flowers and all the extra little touches. The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed

The entrance let the property down. We couldn’t work out how to get hot water including the shower. The twin bedroom door had a hole in it. The noise from the road made the front bedroom difficult to sleep in. Unavoidable as it’s a cobbled road and is busy throughout the day and night, so take ear plugs.

Fabulous location and plenty of room to move.

Street noise was loud throughout every night.
