Edinburgh Charming Old Town Apartment

I liked the location and the room setup. The apartment was well stocked.

It would have been nice to have instructions for the water heater and washing machine.

The noise from cars passing by in the front bedroom difficult to sleep with the noise.

Very noisy in the bedroom on the main road. Heavy traffic going past well int the early hours. Take ear plugs.

Well based in the centre with walking access to everything. The outside belies the actual flat, which is beautiful and has everything you need

Location was excellent so getting to it and anywhere really central was excellent. the properties above/beside were all quiet so noise inside was low. loved some of the period features and the welcome pack especially the coffee were great. The warmth of the interiors and charm were great. wifi was excellent tho could drop out randomly and the TV and apps were a godsend! .. all top marks. shower was good and heating was if anything too warm so we turnend it down but it was a lovely lovely flat.

hard to mark it down... the main point would be its a noisier location than expected with traffic and people passing by ,... but its a city!. if you had younger kids or toddlers i think it would be a harder stay for that reason. but it has some great stuff tho a lot of little technical niggles. One sink didn't drain. the windows were sticky especially one in the twin room which didnt fully close that meant the road noise was louder. The blinds in many rooms were ... a little random in their function or not. some of the kitchen bits seemed past their best ... mugs, glasses cuttlery and can opener but overall tho its was a solid 7/10 and felt VERY homely and warm. so although this list is long its all really minor stuff that if sorted would transform it to a 8/9.

A comfortable apartment in a great location for visiting Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Place and the Old Town. St Mary's Bistro on the ground floor is a great place for breakfast

Lovely warm, cosy apartment in the heart of Edinburgh. Great location within walking distance of all things to see and do. The apartment had everything needed for a holiday and is very clean.

Traffic noise if sleeping at the front of the apartment.
