Service and kindness of the staff. The swimming pool was so great! The cleanliness was also great.

The bed and pillow quality can be better to improve the sleep quality.

It was very homey thanks to the lovely staff !

The location of La Romita in the small village is lovely. The rooms are dotted around in several buildings in the grounds. Our room had an amazing patio style balcony, with great views, and we loved sitting and reading there and doing yoga in the morning. The parking is easy and safe and we could leave our car there the next day while we went walking. There isn't loads of parking, so this may not be possible in the height of the season, we were there in late May. It is an old setting and the furniture etc. is old style, but it fits the setting, the upkeep is good and it just works. We had booked dinner, you need to book they get busy, it was simple local family fair but it was so tasty.

We were hoping to swim and the web site mentions a pool however, the pool was very shut. The weather had been cool, but the week we were there it had finally hit the high twenties, so a dip would have been nice. It wasn't clear if the pool was ever available now and due to the language barrier, we weren't able to clear this up. It would not stop us returning though, we wished we had booked this place for more than one night, certainly 2 and maybe 3. The shower is quite small/traditional, having said that we have a big shower at home, so it might just be us!

Very charming room and gardens, in an old-fashioned way. Everything was done with love and care.

Dinner was too expensive ( much more expensive than advertised on website) and breakfast was too simple

Fabulous location, in small village, views of the rollings hills and olive groves. Spacious rooms and king size beds. Staff is very sweet and tries to help.

mattresses are hard, need a “topper” of some sort. No kettle or little fridge.

The surroundings were quiet and beautiful, and the location in the beautiful city of Montisi was perfect. Staff were friendly.

The breakfast was quite simple. The room and bathroom had too much unusful 'decorations'. The staff only spoke Italian. Wifi and phone connection was so poor that it was inconvenient (and to us this caused hassle and extra fee regarding payment).
