All other positive reviews are true!
The only minor issue (for me it was a big deal though) is that there's a constant loud noise of buildings airvent system, it's a lot louder than a typical aircon and I could hear it through earplugs! For some it may even help to sleep but it kept me awake all night. So if you are in Almaty for something important like interview or an exam, and consider yourself sensitive to noise, I don't recommend this place...
