I was up for work & brought my family along. I was impressed with the quality of the accommodation including the cleanliness. I felt it was good value for money, off season but in school holidays.

I think coffee for the coffee machine & perhaps shampoo in the bathrooms

Fabulous location I'm the heart of whitby.

The location was great, very central to Whitby in easy walking distance to everything you could need. The cottage was even nicer than the photos from the website.

Maybe a step up into the hot tub.

We loved the location. The decor was to a high standard, as was the cleanliness. The shower in our room on the top floor was fantastic. Beds were very comfortable and warm. Communication with the owner/management was easy and the issue with the hot tub was dealt with quickly, politely and efficiently. We cannot fault them at all.

Not really a dislike as the problem was rectified but it was a negative feature of our stay. The hot tub was plugged in to a mains socket outside, and the plug burned out before we managed to use it. However, communication with the owners was excellent, and a maintenance person was sent out quickly to identify the problem and make it safe. Unfortunately as the problem was noticed late on Saturday afternoon an electrician came out on Monday morning as we were leaving. Management offered a partial refund which we traded for late check out instead.
