Amazing venue and facilities the only things that outshine this are the staff and the views

Our room was spacious, with a separate kitchen area, and a large bathroom with a huge tub. The outside area has amazing views and lots of comfortable garden furniture as well as a log burner. We had not fully anticipated how rural this spot is, you will not find any shops or restaurants nearby, so if you want to cook for yourselves make sure you bring food in advance. We had not forseen this and hadn't booked food with the accommodation, but we asked the reception staff who arranged food for us. It cost around £100 which was a little expensive but in fairness there was so much food, could have easily fed more than just the two of us, and it was clearly fresh produce. They brought us a seafood paella, steak, a pizza, a salad, marinated chicken, veggies, plus other nibbles and dessert, aswell as food for breakfast. We had to cook this ourselves on the large gas BBQ and pizza oven but they left clear cooking instructions and it was enjoyable to cook the dinner for ourselves.

Beware of the location- it's a beautiful location but just be mindful how you plan to get there. We had planned to hire a car which would have been no issue but ended up being unable to do so, so we're on bikes. The bike ride up is tough and steep and we walked a lot of it with the bikes because it was just too steep for us to ride up. Makes for an easy ride back to the main road the next day but tough on the way up. There was seemingly no public transport and we didn't see any taxis on the island either.

Loved the entire experience. The staff were extremely helpful... if you cycle there, make sure to take the main road... the back way was brutal, and I had to push my bike up the hill. View was absolutely worth it though. The kitchen had everything I needed.

Slightly difficult to get there for “amateur bikers”, would have preferred checkout at 11 to fully enjoy the amazing morning view.

The view was incredible and breathtaking! When we were anticipating arriving after our check-in time, the hosts were very accommodating and flexible! It was such a great getaway even if it was just for one night. Made the Shimanami Kaido Kaido experience that much better. Also, best toilet in the world :).

We unfortunately weren't big fans of the beds. While they did have some plush, it was overall a little too firm for us. However, this is literally the only 'negative' thing I can think of, and I feel like it is a personal preference on sleeping.

The view was breathtaking. We had a great time with the bbq and pizza oven and making a bonfire at night. It was truly amazing! We were welcome really friendly and even got some marshmallows for the bonfire for free. The place is on a hill but definitely worth the ride up!

Clean, spacious and the staff are nice. The food is excellent.

A bit pricey.

Amazing experience and the entire property was well thought out. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and interesting experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Even though English wasn’t their first language, when dinner was delivered, they took the effort to patiently explain how to use the broiler, pizza stove, and how to prepare the food items. Top notch service.

None, if you’re looking for a glamping experience, this was truly a good one.
