FORESTERIA di PALAZZO RADICI

An opportunity to stay in a beautiful historic building in the heart of the upper town of Bergamo. The hotel is close to the funicular railway and some lovely restaurants, but in a really quiet setting. The owner and staff were lovely, so very helpful and welcoming. We stayed in a junior suite which was huge! The bathroom was incredible. As the hotel is on the second floor of the building, the views out across the lower town were amazing. The building has a lift and a courtyard, as well as some other lovely communal spaces. Breakfast was delicious.

The rooms and the common rooms are beautifully decorated and give you a sense of the history of the building and the owners both past and present.

There isn't much, or rather nothing, not to like about this Hotel. It is superb.

Es war alles super perfekt !!! Der Service ,die Zimmer die Lage das Beste was wir je hatten. Das Hotel wird mit so viel Aufmerksamkeit und liebe zum Detail geführt . Es ist ein Traum !!!!!

Nicht gefallen hat uns nur das wir nicht länger bleiben konnten da unsere Reise weiter ging.

Acomodação excelente. Quarto imenso. Banheiro imenso, chuveiro maravilhoso. A Alessandra é excelente desde a chegada. Localização na parte alta maravilhosa, perto de tudo. Recomendo!!!

Acho que deveriam avisar sobre as escadas da acomodação para os idosos principalmente. Achei ruim ter uma só toalha no banheiro e me faltou papel higiênico também. O horário do café da manhã é bem limitado.

Una autèntica experiència de luxe. La propietària del Palau, arquitecta i heredera de la família Radici, va decidir obrir les seves portes i configurar el lloc per acollir unes poques habitacions, d'auntèntic luxe clàssic, un plaer pels sentits. No és només l'habitació, molt àmplia, amb espai molt generós, lluminosa i que en si mateixa podria ser un petit apartament, és que totes les estances són fantàstiques. Sofàs, alfombres, quadres, tot net, tot fantàsticament conservat, i tot i així evocant història pels quatre costats. Un Honest Bar en una de les estances comuns completa la filosofia pro-client i la sensació d'estar molt ben cuidat. L'esmorçar està a l'alçada de la resta. Personalitzat i de molt alta qualitat. Alessandra és una amfitriona encantadora, t'ajuda a buscar llocs per la zona, t'explica la història del lloc, etc. El Palau està a pocs metres d'una de les places principals de Bergamo Alto i del funicular que comunica amb la ciutat baixa. També a walking distance de tot tipus de restaurants, botigues, etc.

Ni tan sols esforçant-me se m'acut algun punt negatiu del lloc.

Incomparable accommodation. Great location and views. A historic site. Steeped in history. A work of art. From the moment you enter the doors, to the courtyard, up the staircase, to the lounge and rooms. The story behind its restoration. The warmth of the property and its people behind it. Can’t get any better. Barbara and Allesandra have so much passion. Such a great team. Wonderful people.
