MACTAN AIRPORT HILLTOP HOTEL

The location is hidden away which, for me, was quite nice to have peace and quiet while being so close to areas of interest and the airport. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful and that is what made the stay so special. I appreciate being appreciated and the staff made me feel most welcome.

The television was limited in channels and clarity. A little more to watch would have been nice to take a break every once and a while. But the service and kindness of the staff made up for anything lacking.

Not much, to be honest. Bed was comfortable and the a/c worked. Little else to speak for this property.

First, it was very hard to find because they don't operate under the name listed and the location given on Google Maps is several hundred meters from the actual property. Also, cash only, no credit card. No three-pronged outlet and no adapters so I couldn't charge my laptop. TV options were EXTREMELY limited. The electrical sockets were so loose, I couldn't keep my smartphone charger in the adapter so I didn't get even close to a full charge on my cell phone.

I went here at 2am after another hotel overbooked and turned me down. The staff were nice and it was in a very quiet location even though this hotel is just about a kilometer away from the airport.

It's actually called Park Hill Hotel Mactan. It may be confusing for your taxi to find.
