"A lovely few days."

It’s a lovely cottage, close to the beach, restaurants and a Coop. Vikki and Claire were quick to reply to any queries and were very informative. We will definitely check for availability the next time we’re in Cullercoats.

"Idyllic coastal retreat"

Just spent a wonderful weekend at the Fisherman’s cottage in the most beautiful location in Cullercoats. Fabulous interior and spotlessly clean. Everything you could possibly need is here. The beds are so comfortable with fresh, crisp, white linen and the towels soft and fluffy. Vikki, the host is amazing! Communication is brilliant and super fast! I came with my sisters to spend some quality time with them and this cottage was the ideal place. It’s so quiet, peaceful and relaxing. My sister has mobility issues and the downstairs bedroom and en-suite shower room were perfect for her needs. She said it’s the most comfortable place she has ever stayed in. We are leaving refreshed, relaxed and have already booked in again! Can’t to wait to return!

We were impressed from the outside of the cottage but even more when stepping in the door - stylish and modern quality furnishings and fittings - shower rooms upstairs and downstairs to each bedroom

Would have liked a door downstairs to the shower room corridor and downstairs bedroom to make it a private on suite

The location is ideal, perfect for walking to Whitley Bay and Tyneside. Quiet neighbourhood with free allocated easy parking close to the cottage.

"The Great North run."

The property is ideally placed for walking along the beachfront to nearby Whitley bay and Tynemouth or visiting the beautiful local beach. There are a good choice of local restaurants, we used the Queens Head pub which was 2 minutes away for excellent pub grub and good service. Also the property is a 5 minute walk from the Metro station which is a cheap and convenient service to visit the nearby Newcastle area. We parked the car up a convenient distance away in the allotted car park and didn’t move it again until leaving following a four night stay.

The downstairs bedroom was somewhat compact for easy movement.
