Faaa Airport Lodge - Fare Mahana

Good location near the airport. View overlooking the Island of Moorea and the surrounding area.

hard to find with Taxi driver since there was no exact address. Sent lots of pictures and helped to get us there in the evening which made it harder. Overall a very clean basic place to stay for good value. God communication if you needed any help.

The host picked us up at the ferry terminal. An extremely nice and kind man. The place was very nice and clean, with a nice view. Very comfortable bed. The place is up on the hill so there is a nice breeze in the night-no need for A/C. We had a flight in the middle of the night and the host arranged a taxi for us (5min drive).

This is not related to the accommodation itself, but be aware that taxis will charge an extra fee to get up the hill.

Good location and close to the airport

Cleaning was a big problem - a lot of ants running all around the apartment making it feel unclean all around; communication around the included airport pickup was also very lacking - leaving us calling the host 8 times and running for 30m before they bothered answering and arriving at the pickup. Shame as I’m sure they mean well - but the execution on both cleaning and pickup are very lacking.

It's a lovely and convenient place to stay if you need accommodation near Faa'a airport

Getting there is tricky, but the host provides you with a short video on how to get there. If you travel solo like myself, watching a video while driving at night can be a challenge.

It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the airport.

Had trouble recognizing the car that came to pick us up.

Jean Paul was a super host who picked us up from the airport and brought us to his rental. Great views of the ocean.

The host was lovely and collected me from the airport and offered tips on what to do while i was staying in Tahiti
