Villa Fortezza Antique Rooms

Everything is amazing in this place! From the breakfast (different everyday, homemade products) to the room view, the surroudings, the location. It is definitely one of the best B&B's we have stayed!

It was too hot and the rooms don't have AC, only a fan. If you are not a fan of almost 30ºC during the night inside the room, maybe best to choose something else :)

Villa Fortezza is a wonderful and unique place with great views overlooking the ancient city of Ascoli Piceno. The breakfast prepared by the kind and very friendly host Salvatore is delicious and changes every day. The both houses are very tastefully decorated in different styles and there are a lot of places to enjoy the gardens and the natural pool. We enjoyed our time there a lot and are already looking forward to coming back.

No complaints whatever. We loved the view over the city, and the escape from city traffic and noise and heat.

Could have done with some Comfortable wicker chairs on the platforms outside the rooms, and a comfortable pair of chairs in each bedroom, plus better lighting.

This place was absolutely amazing. The views of Ascoli made the location very worth it. It is located up a hill so there are a few stairs to reach it from the city, but it is a very short walk. Breakfast was the BEST. Salvatore was a great host. The bio pool was quite nice. Excellent facilities - kitchen, washing machine etc.

This is a very special place in a lovely wooded area on a hill above the Centro of Ascoli Piceno. It was quiet, and the two building were interesting, eclectic, and fun to explore. Room was large and comfortable, and there was a large space, a communal kitchen in the building we were in with an expresso machine that allowed us to make an early espresso before breakfast. We enjoyed the breakfast tables scattered on the lawn with lovely views of old towers etc., the town, and the hill across the valley. Excellent, varied breakfasts. Salvatore was very attentive, responsive, and helpful!

Not really a dislike, but be aware that though it is theoretically a 12 minute walk from Centro, the walk goes DOWN hundreds of lovely wide well-marked steps through the woods, and then of course back up those same steps. Lots of exercise! Given a hamstring injury that wasn’t easy for us, but Salvatore then told us about a very accessible parking garage (parking IN Centro, like most Italian hill towns, very hard much of the time) that was a few minute drive with an elevator that limited the need to do any stairs. Once we found that, which was a reasonable 1 Europe an hour (max 10/day), we were golden.
