Miyajima Grand Hotel Arimoto

Both dinner and breakfast were beautifully presented, delicious and filling. Our server was very friendly and explained all of the dishes and how best to eat them. The garden view of the fish pond was beautiful at night as well as in the morning. Our room was spacious, well equipped, with comfortable beds and a huge bathroom by Japanese standards. Toiletries were good quality and the yukata a nice touch.

Great location close to the Miyajima Torii gate and only a short walk to the ferry terminal. The room was wonderfully decorated in Japanese style and very spacious. A very pleasant place.

The hotel felt a bit old and dated.

Un alojamiento de 10 todo maravilloso el precio es algo alto pero lo merece sin lugar a ninguna duda. El desayuno muy bueno pero la cena fue una experiencia maravillosa. Tiene un onsen muy recomendable y el personal está muy pendiente pero sin agobiar.

Localização excelente, perto do santuário de Itsukushima. Quartos muito espaçosos, com zona adicional de estar/dormir no estilo japonês. Excelente serviço, funcionários atenciosos e diligentes. Shuttle gratuito para o cais do ferry.

A nice hotel, although a bit dated. A large Japanese-style room. Friendly service. Delicious kaiseki dinner and a good breakfast with excellent service.

The entire experience would have been very good if not for one detail that contributed to our low rating. We were assigned a room on the fifth floor, which had a strong, unpleasant odor. It could be felt even in the hallway. We wanted to sleep with the window open, but unfortunately, there was no mosquito net. We only stayed one night. If we had been staying longer, we would have definitely asked for a room change or canceled. The stench was so intense that it woke us up at night. Upon checkout, we reported the issue to the front desk, and they said they would look into it. It's a shame that this one thing affected our stay, because the rest was great.
