Easy to find location, very clean and tidy. Nicely decorated and everything you need is available.

There was nothing not to like.

The host was most gracious and was awaiting our arrival and welcomed us with cake and sweets together with essential items in the refrigerator (milk, bread, etc.). The place was immaculate, absolutely spotless, and no dust. We had fresh hand and bath towels in the bathrooms,l which were amazingly clean. One of which was recently renovated and quiet spacious. The amenities (oven, refrigerator, water heater, washing machine, etc.) were maintained and in excellent condition. There were a few water heating issues that were immediately and promptly resolved by the host. The ben linen was of fine quality and the blankets cozy.The location is excellent because the air is fresh and clean, the area is quiet, there is ample parking space, and there is no traffic. Simply hands down one of the best staying experiences and comes highly recommended from my side.

The heating could improve but nothing to complain about.

Very well presented and equipped with everything you could ask for. What a lovely touch with bottle of wine and cake upon arrival. Comfy beds, toiletries and even a bottle of milk in the fridge.

The weather was extremely cold, and as a result so were we. We had an extra heater in the lounge but to be honest it did nothing to warm us up. Appreciate that the cottage is old and not insulated but I have never stayed anywhere and been so cold before. I think that the radiators need to be bled as they were left on, but the lounge, kitchen and hall were Baltic. We bought ourselves extra blankets and slippers. I could have asked for extra blankets but having been at a funeral and driving up from Sussex, it was easier just to pop to Asda and pick these up.

The place was spacious and comfortable. It was not too far from cities and towns, yet in a nice and quiet location. The view is beautiful on a clear day. The host also provided complementary cake and wine to welcome us.

There was no sponge for dishwashing, and the water pressure was low at times.
