Good quiet location. Easy access to Glasgow and Edinburgh by car and local train station. Good space. Comfy bed. Hosts on site and very helpful and responded quickly to any query.

Kitchen could have more cooking pots and pans. No hairdryer. Seating in lounge not very comfy for 4 adults. En-suite looks a bit tired.

Location was excellent for what we needed. It’s quiet but has great links to everywhere. It was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable to sleep in and it was well equipped for everything you need

The heating was a huge issue for us. I’ve never stayed anywhere before where I have to ask to put the heating on. It comes on then goes off after about an hour and I had to ask a few times for it to be put on. We purchased a hot water bottle for one family member and used all the blankets for extra warmth for her. The cat flap in the front door isn’t very well sealed so the wind blows through that. The radiator in the hall wouldn’t come on, or the main bathroom or the bedroom with twin beds. The en-suite shower goes hot and cold. Also, the bed in the lounge is not good to sit on it hurts your back, an extra sofa would be far better as the accommodation is not big enough for six people anyway.

Location was stunning. Lovely room set up's throughout house. Up to date appliances.

No fans available as the nights were v hot (although in all fairness I never messaged the host either to ask if any were available!). If cutlery/crockery/kitchen/dishwasher available then washing liquid etc should also be provided.

Location was perfect, easy for day trips to Edinburgh, Glasgow and the smaller towns, hosts were there if we needed them

Clean warm property with oodles of space and loads of storage, parking no problem. Very quite area no traffic. Very scenic as advertised. Plenty of kitchen facilities. Large Fridge/Freezer, microwave , oven, toaster and plenty of hot water. Showers are all electric and worked well. Large TV with Sky and Wi-Fi. There is a railway station in Shotts just a 7 minute drive away with free parking and plenty of trains to Edinburgh or Glasgow. Great place to chill out in, away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The cottage is simply amazing. It is beautifully decorated/furnished, extremely spacious. The kitchen is great and was something we really cared about. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom is very big and has lots of storage space. Having both washer and dryer was really convenient! I spent most of the time at the cottage while my husband was working in Glasgow and had all the space and comfort to be able to work as well as rest and relax. The hosts are super kind and helpful. The location is very quiet, which was also something we were very much looking for.
