Lihinya Beach Villa Ahangama

Michael, de eigenaar en zijn team hebben ervoor gezorgd dat we een heel fijn verblijf hebben gehad. Ze waren heel aardig en attent. Ze hebben zich flexibel opgesteld, de gastvrijheid en service waren van een hoog niveau. Een hele fijne rustige plek met super mooi uitzicht over de zee!

We had a fantastic time at Lihinya Beach Villa - the location was stunning, the rooms spacious and calm, the breakfast fantastic, and the staff were super friendly. While there, we met a couple who come every year, and had this year decided to stay for a full month, which shows how great this place is! The owner even went out of his way to reunite us with something we left behind, which was so kind and helpful.

Honestly, nothing!

Alt! Dette ophold var perfekt for os. Den smukkeste beliggenhed med udsigt ud over havet. Værelset var lyst, lækkert og havde en fremragende seng. Og ikke mindst var personalet så hjælpsomt og søde- vi følte os virkelig godt tilpas her, på alle måder.

It’s a beautiful property on the seafront, all the staff were absolutely incredible, good facilities with fantastic chef. Will most definitely be revisiting! Thank you for such a wonderful stay and a great way to celebrate my birthday - we will see you again!

Nothing

Der Inhaber Michael und sein Team mit Koch, Housekeepern und Security Mann sind alle total nett, man merkt, dass ihnen die Arbeit dort richtig Spaß macht. Das Zimmer und die Aussicht aufs Meer waren traumhaft. Der Pool und generell der Außenbereich waren auch toll und gepflegt. Wie waren zeitweise fast alleine tagsüber in der Villa und man hat sich gefühlt, als würde einem die Villa gehören mit privatem Hauspersonal. Die Lage war auch total gut, viele Restaurants und Cafés in der Nähe fußläufig zu erreichen. Dennoch ruhig gelegen etwas weg von der Straße, sodass man sie nicht hört. Das Essen in der Villa war auch so gut, es wurde einem alles immer frisch zubereitet. Rundum einfach ein richtig toller Aufenthalt!!

Der direkte Strandzugang fehlt etwas, da die letzte Stufe zum Meer etwas hoch ist aber Michael möchte da in Zukunft eine Lösung zu finden. Also müssen wir nächstes Jahr wieder kommen und nachschauen, was sich bis dahin getan hat :)

The absolute best five-star hotel we visited during our trip to Sri Lanka. So cosy and absolutely stunning, with the most beautiful sunsets we experienced on the island. We loved being able to swim both in the pool and in the ocean. Cool cafés are just a five-minute walk along the beach, which makes the location perfect. The service was truly outstanding from start to finish.

Really enjoyed our 2 nights here. The room was spacious comfortable and had a great view. Nice pool and sunbeds , enough for all guests and really good options at breakfast. Staff very friendly. Clean with a good bathroom. Close to the center of the resort but far enough away to be quiet for sleep.

One point not a complaint but a mini fridge in room would have been nice.

The Villa - The villa is stunning. Set in the prime spot metres from the sea. The Villa is light and spacious, plenty of room for everyone. The rooms are lovely and have a great balcony for watching sunrise and sunset. Pool was fantastic and so we're the loungers. Enough for all guests. Location - fantastic location in the heart of Ahangama. Close to bars, restaurants, shops and a bank. Everything you need by foot. But the Villa set back from the road made for a peaceful and relaxed feel. The staff - they are what make this place. Lovely people who cannot do enough for you. Making drinks, multiple choices of breakfasts to evening fetching us ice creams! They really do make your stay here special and are a credit to Lihinya. Michael the owner was very helpful and welcoming, made our whole stay there feel laid back and relaxed which is exactly what we wanted. Sorted us a taxi to Colombo no problem. Overall this is a fantastic place to stay on the south coast! If a chilled out wonderful villa with the beach and sea on your doorstep is what you want them look no further! Thanks for a great stay
