Lihinya Beach Villa Ahangama

This hotel is nothing short of amazing! It is situated right in the heart of Ahangama, well within walking distance to all the local shops and restaurants and only a couple of minutes walk to the train station. Located right on the beach with direct access as well as a beautiful pool, you really have the best of both! Plenty of space within the property, with only 4 rooms, there is more thank enough space by the pool or with sun lounges for everyone to enjoy. There is also a beautiful indoor common lounge area as well as dining space. The room was stunning, with a balcony and amazing beach views. The room is very spacious with beautiful high ceilings, and spacious bathroom, the room really has everything you need! The staff and service were exceptional, with such an intimate hotel, you really get to the know the staff who really go out of their way to make your stay welcoming and comfortable, nothing is too much fuss, the staff are a real asset to the hotel. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. 3 main options to choose from, its all cooked and prepared by the staff fresh every morning! No boring buffets here! The hotel also has a large snack, Lunch and drinks menu, all prepared fresh by the staff. We had the most amazing stay here, we didn't want to leave, it really is everything you want in a hotel! We would definitely stay again and highly recommend anyone stay here

Our stay here was absolutely amazing. The location, the design of the space, the staff, the food, the pool and views, everything about it was perfect. Couldn’t recommend this more to anyone staying in the area! The guys that worked there could not have been more kind and accommodating. They were always there to help with anything we needed and were amazing people! It is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed! It feels very private as it only has a few rooms but has the service and convenience of a 5 star resort. It is directly on the ocean and right in town so we were able to walk to almost everywhere we wanted to and with the pool and the ocean you never had to leave! Was very sad to leave this place and will be back!

What a lovely shared villa. The owner was amazing, Michael made sure my partner was surprised on his birthday with helping decorate the room with balloons, birthday signs, birthday cake and Prosecco! Couldn’t thank him enough!!! The rooms are perfect size, lovely balcony & views. Breakfast was so tasty each morning made by the lovely 3 chefs there. Pool and beach access was brilliant along with walking distance to all places to eat and drink in Ahangama. I would definitely go back!

Incredible beachfront hotel with stunning ocean views, a beautiful garden and pool. My hotel room and bathroom were simply but nicely decorated, spacious and clean and the bed very comfortable.

Lihinya must mean home! It’s such a special place, with special people working here that go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The location is unbeatable and the food is amazing (try the Sri Lankan breakfast Chanaka’s Dahl and coconut sambal is the best we have ever had!). Rooms are exceptional and peaceful place to stay. Thank you Michael and to your team (Chanaka, Dinesh, Sameera, Bimsara and Vipul) for sharing your place with us… it was paradise we can’t wait to come back and wish we could have stayed longer!
