Amazing place nice and friendly staff

The place has amazing view and the chalets are all very nice with view on the waterfall. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. While the place has great potential, it is not clear what the concept behind is. Maybe it used to be a place for yoga retreats or something but it now lacks a bit of soul.The restaurant is deserted, just tables and chairs. We noted that a few things weren't working properly, the pool was broken so we used the other pool that is part of the private villa (which is also very nice though). We only stayed one night and we actually enjoyed it, so overall it was still quite good.

wonderful, very special place!

Peaceful spot with lovely views over looking the Mahaweli river. Well located for watching the birds and wildlife. Relaxing garden area with main pool and restaurant. Also light and open plan villa with its own small pool and garden. Good supportive staff and chef, excellent Sri Lankan food choices. Short section of access road more easily passable with SUV, until nearby dam construction work completed, and road tarmacked over.

A unique place with beautiful nature. The view from the window reveals pristine beauty. It’s wonderful to observe the mountain landscapes, fog, and sunrises. You can take a walk along the river or around the property to examine how tea grows. The food is delicious! I believe they have the best chef in Sri Lanka here! Thank you very much for the personalized approach, for fulfilling my special requests and wishes on my birthday, and for the feeling of warmth and hospitality. And the monkeys are a special feature of the place. Thank you, I will recommend it.

The view was absolutely stunning. We’ve never stayed in a place with such a fantastic view from the cottage. The pool was very nice, and the staff — especially Harry — took excellent care of us. We even stayed an extra night to relax. The road was moderatly manageable with our own TukTuk. It’s a good idea to arrive before dark, though.

The restaurant felt a bit lacking in atmosphere. With a bit more decoration, it would easily be a 10.
