"Pleasant stay, amazing breakfast. I would stay again."

I looked at all the reviews before I booked so I thought I knew what to expect when I arrived. It was so much better than I expected. A short walk from the train station in a housing area , so away from a main road. Friendly staff. There was a function on when I arrived but I couldn’t hear it from my room at the top. I was travelling alone so the single room was totally adequate for my needs and the bed was comfortable. I had tea/coffee facilities and even had a TV! The breakfast was amazing. I didn’t have an evening meal in their pub, I intended to but fell asleep on the bed after walking 7 miles around London before getting the Bracknell train from Waterloo ! I was handy for the location for an appointment I had the next day but it was also near a really good shopping area with ample opportunity for spending, eating and coffees. I would certainly pick the Admiral Cunningham to stay again next time I have an appointment in Bracknell.

Not so much that I didn’t like it, I only stayed 1 night and the room was described as basic- but the ‘bathroom’ with shower basin and toilet was very compact. It didn’t bother me. I’m 5’4” slim build, but I think it might bother a broader person.

Excellent full English breakfast which was included in the room rate. 10/10. Friendly staff.

My room no 7 was on the chilly side. Radiator needs attention. No teaspoon provided with tea & coffee making facilties in room. A simple oversight I'm sure.

"The whole place needs updating"

Place is very poorly decorated. Carpets in room & stairway tread-bare. Bed spring poking through mattress . Cigarette burn hole in bathroom sink. Hot tap on sink loose tuned around when used. Holes in bathroom wall. sink cabinet split at the bottom. Radiator in bathroom didn't work

Breakfast was made with an extra portion of effort !

The room was awful. Cracks in the wall, mould on the ceilings. Large bathroom but very small shower cubicle. Given that we were told this was an upgrade due to our original room having a broken shower I cannot imagine what the other room looked like. Being in the hospitality industry for 40 yrs it was very disappointing
