Valletta Old Well Apartments

It’s location is close to the town center but far from the ferry from Pozzallo.

This is not an apartment but a small room that happens to have a sink, refrigerator and microwave By definition, it does not have a kitchenette. There are no windows in the room and so it is very easy to feel claustrophobic. If you are not careful you can hit your head on the stone arches above the bed or coming out of the shower.

The smell when I arrived was very bad because it is an underground room, no windows and all. The bathroom sink wasn’t working properly

The check in instructions weren’t given to me on time. I arrived at the property at 0100 in the morning and was outside the property for 2.5 hrs without anyone to contact. Until I realised to try calling booking.com Also, upon entry there was a scorpion in the wall!

- Very clean and comfortable. - Great location, easy walk from cafes, bars, bus station and the walled city centre - Great communication from owner (ask them to send you a pic of the small alleyway leading to the front door as it's a little tricky to find otherwise.) - Quiet.

- No natural light as it's in the basement. - Not the room pictured (there was not enough room for for that sofa!) - Glass door too bathroom (right next to bed) so no privacy if you're sharing the room. Also, bathroom door didn't shut properly. - Not enough loo roll. - Small kitchenette is good for snacks & drinks but not enough equiment for cooking anything.

Location is the best for this accommodation.

During my five-day stay, there was only one roll of toilet paper and no spare. I had a hard time unlocking the door. The address of the inn did not appear on google maps and the cab driver was lost.

AC, localization, style.

Double bed comfort was strange because IT was moving during sleep.

Location is good - it is in the heart of Valletta old city
